MUSIAD is a strong "Non-Governmental Organization" that represents nearly 60,000 businesses with more than 14,000 members at home and abroad and employs approximately 2,000,000 people, has 85 contact points in the country, serves with a total of 180 points in 81 dierent countries abroad, and conveys the problems, opinions, and suggestions of its members to public institutions and organizations on site.
International Business Forum (IBF) is an international platform of annual congresses and joint commercial activities, bringing together 42 business associations from nearly 25 countries since 1995. This platform was founded on the principle of establishing “Global Business Networks” among businessmen, focusing on finding reasonable solutions to develop economic ties, sustain cooperation, reinforce communication, and accelerate social and economic development between countries.
At the Congresses where concrete solutions are submitted under the central theme, many activities like high-level panels, presentations of multinational business projects, country briefings of representative delegations from dierent countries, and real-life business experiences are realized. Furthermore, sector-specific business meetings and matching sessions are organized to increase the trade volume among participating businessmen.
The 27th IBF Congress is to be held in Riyadh to draw attention to the trade and investment potential that Saudi Arabia may have. Sectoral meetings are planned to explain the privileges in the food, agriculture, animal husbandry, tourism, energy, construction, and health sectors. In addition to these sectoral meetings, presentations and visits to factories will be held. It is intended to have more about Saudi Arabia and bring it to the forefront of new business opportunities for business people. To this end, 1000 distinguished business people will be brought together in Riyadh.
The Riyadh Chamber of Commerce was created by the decision of the Ministry of Commerce and Investment. They are non-profit organizations representing the business community's interests within their jurisdiction and raising concerns with the relevant institutions. In addition to involving the business world in the decision-making process, the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce works to strengthen and develop the business world and eliminate the obstacles in the sector. The Riyadh Chamber of Commerce is a legal entity and is represented by a board of directors.
The Chambers of Commerce and Industry in various regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia represent the interests of the respective business communities within their jurisdiction. The Saudi Chamber of Commerce represents the Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry. The Riyadh Chamber of Commerce represents and sponsors the Saudi business community. Apart from this, it follows business investments regardless of the city.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is located on the Arabian Peninsula at the intersection of Asia, Europe, and Africa. Its borders extend to Jordan and Iraq in the north and Yemen and Oman in the south. This strategic location makes Saudi Arabia an important actor in global trade, providing access to diverse markets and a central location for international commercial activities. The capital, Riyadh, serves as the political and financial center of Saudi Arabia, playing a vital role in driving the country's economy and oering great economic opportunities in the region. Riyadh also attracts international companies and investors, creating a dynamic environment for trade and investment.
According to May 31, 2023 data, 32.2 million people live in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia exported goods and services worth 1,075 billion Saudi riyals (1,036 billion riyals in goods and 39 billion riyals in services) in 2021. The 2021 import figure is 848 billion riyals (573 billion riyals in goods and 277 billion riyals in services). The primary market for Saudi Arabia's non-oil exports is Asia, with 55%. Among Asian countries, China is in the lead with 191 billion riyals. Most exports are to Arab and Islamic countries outside Asia. In return, Asia accounts for 36% of imports.
Saudi Arabia's prominence in the global economy is due to its role as a leading oil producer and its significant influence in the energy sector. This, combined with its strategic location, positions the Kingdom as a major player in shaping international trade dynamics. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is of great importance as it is in the heart of the Arab and Islamic worlds and has a strategic geographical location that has historically made it a vital trade route between the East and the West. Also, Saudi Arabia is one of the leading economies of the future, with untapped opportunities and unique investment possibilities.
The main reason for choosing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the destination is the great importance that MÜSIAD, the International Business Forum, and its members, who are present in more than 70 dierent countries around the world, attach to "Saudi Vision 2030". The framework of this vision has brought about many economic reforms that have formed new business opportunities, raised the Kingdom's main strategic assets, and driven growth by attracting foreign direct investments in various sectors such as industry, construction, tourism, agriculture, technology, information, energy, arts, oil, and gas.
Saudi Vision 2030, under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, provides for a dynamic and expansive economy, growth towards new industries, attracting investment, and assistance for success for investors. The government promotes an open and welcoming economic environment that attracts foreign investment and supports local talent through innovative regulations and reforms. The objectives of Vision 2030 are to empower Saudi citizens and business people to reach their full potential, diversify the economy, support local content, and create opportunities for innovative growth. This is achieved by preparing a favorable environment for domestic and foreign investors.
Within Vision 2030's scope are 96 strategic, 27 branch, and six inclusive targets. Apart from these, there are eleven programs. These are: Refugee Experience Program, Quality of Life Program, National Transformation Program, Financial Sustainability Program, Public Investment Fund Program, Housing Program, Privatization Program, Health Sector Transformation Program, National Industrial Development and Logistics Program, Financial Sector Development Program, and Human Talent Development Program. Apart from these, Vision 2030 has three building blocks: a vibrant society, a thriving economy, and an ambitious nation.
